Architecture and Civil Engineering
The field of Architecture and Civil Engineering combines the field of architectural design with the field of civil engineering. First, the student acquires knowledge in the fundamentals of civil engineering, building construction, building mechanics, and building services engineering. This is followed by architectural design, in which students acquire skills in designing certain types of buildings and their parts, such as: layout, facade articulation and their aesthetic appearance, and the overall setting of the building in its environment. In practice, they will master hand drawing and sketching of three-dimensional objects and manual creation of working models. The field of study also includes working with modern technologies such as scanning objects and buildings using a drone, editing 3D data, photogrammetry, printing models with 3D printers, creating own volumetric models using 3D and 2D software such as AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, Blender, and learning the basics of BIM design.
